Bike Barn Milford – Terms and Conditions for Bike Repairs
1. Service Agreement
By leaving your bicycle with Bike Barn Milford for servicing or repairs, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
2. Estimates and Authorisation
A free estimate will be provided before any work is carried out.
No additional work will be performed without your approval.
Estimates are valid for 14 days from the date issued.
If required parts exceed £150 in value, payment for the parts must be made in advance before we place the order with suppliers.
3. Turnaround Times
We aim to complete repairs within the agreed timeframe.
Delays may occur due to parts availability or unforeseen issues.
You will be notified of any changes to the expected completion date.
4. Parts and Warranties
All new parts supplied are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
Used or customer-supplied parts are not covered under our warranty.
Labour is guaranteed for 30 days from the date of service.
5. Collection and Storage
You will be notified when your bike is ready for collection.
Bikes not collected within 14 days of completion may incur a storage fee of £5 per day.
Bikes not collected within 60 days may be sold to recover costs.
6. Liability
Bike Barn Milford is not responsible for:
Pre-existing damage or faults.
Loss or damage due to theft, fire, or natural disasters.
Bikes are stored at the owner’s risk outside of service hours.
7. Payment
Full payment is due upon collection of the bike.
We accept cash, card, and contactless payments.
Bikes will not be released until payment is received in full.
8. Customer-Supplied Parts
Customer-supplied parts are accepted at our discretion.
We are not liable for any faults or failures arising from these parts.
9. Abandoned Bikes
Bikes not collected and unpaid after 60 days may be sold or disposed of to recover service costs.
We will make reasonable attempts to contact the owner before taking such action.
10. Privacy
Customer details are kept confidential and used solely for communication and record-keeping.
We do not share personal information with third parties.
